BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) - The FBI in Los Angeles seeking the public’s help in finding a bank robber nicknamed the “Patient Bandit” for the surgical mask he wears over his mouth and nose.

The FBI said in a statement Tuesday that the man robbed a Beverly Hills Citibank branch on Nov. 28 with a note demanding cash and saying he had an explosive device.

The bureau says a man matching the same description was seen at a nearby Citibank in Los Angeles on Friday and witnesses said he was behaving suspiciously but left before reaching the teller window.

The man is described as very pale, about 55 years old and over 6 feet tall. He was wearing a New England Patriots cap and had a bandage on his arm and carried a black backpack.
