ST. LOUIS (AP) - A retired St. Louis police lieutenant has been charged with possessing child pornography.

Sixty-five-year-old Ronald George Oldani turned himself in Tuesday on four felony charges. He is free on bond pending trial.

Police say they found more than 100 multimedia files containing child pornography on Oldani’s computer.

Defense attorney Matt Radefeld said his client intends to plead not guilty.

Oldani was a St. Louis police officer for 30 years before his 2009 retirement.
