CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Charlotte forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will see his first action in nearly a month Wednesday night in the Hornets’ game against the Boston Celtics.

Charlotte coach Steve Clifford said before Wednesday’s game that he would bring Kidd-Gilchrist off the bench behind starters Lance Stephenson and Gerald Henderson.

Kidd-Gilchrist missed 12 games because of a stress reaction in his right foot. He was cleared to resume practice Tuesday.
