MASHANTUCKET, Conn. (AP) - A man has been arrested by tribal police at the Foxwoods Resort Casino on charges that he left his 3-year-old son alone for several hours at a hotel.

Police say 33-year-old Troy Forster of Windsor Locks left his son alone for more than three hours while he was at the casino with his girlfriend.

The Day of New London (https://bit.ly/1IC2M4K ) reports that he was charged Tuesday with risk of injury to a minor. A phone message left at his home address was not immediately returned.

Police say they were called to the Fox Tower hotel at 2:35 a.m. on Nov. 23 by hotel guests who reported a toddler crying in a hallway. The toddler had apparently wandered out of the room on his own.
