SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) - A father and son from upstate New York have been sentenced to three years behind bars for cocaine trafficking last year.

The Daily Gazette of Schenectady reports (https://bit.ly/1sccPbX ) that 20-year-old Mensah Watson and 58-year-old Alvin Watson were sentenced earlier this week in Saratoga County Court. They both pleaded guilty in October to drug-related charges.

Authorities say the younger Watson sold cocaine around downtown Saratoga Springs. He and his father were arrested July 5 after police raided what they described as a large cocaine-dealing operation in a mobile home park just outside Saratoga.

Police say they uncovered a large amount of cocaine, marijuana, more than $5,000 in cash and drug paraphernalia.
