ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - The occupants of two vehicles escaped serious injury in a fiery crash overnight at an Albuquerque intersection.

Police say the crash late Wednesday night immediately left a car engulfed in flames as the driver ran from the scene.

Responding officers apprehended that person. Meanwhile, the other driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Police say a drunken-driving investigation is being conduct.
