UNION, S.C. (AP) - A textile manufacturing company in Union is expanding its operations, adding 35 jobs.

Multiple media outlets reported that Standard Textile Co. plans to spend $5 million to upgrade its plant.

The expansion will increase Standard Textile’s terry towel finishing operations. The company said there will be additional work in spinning, yarn preparation and weaving.
