EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Members of the New Jersey Air National Guard will participate in a training exercise off the coast.

Officials on Thursday will evaluate how well the 177th Fight Wing responds rapidly and appropriately to threats. The wing is stationed at Atlantic City International Airport.

Two F-16 fighter jets, a C-5 aircraft and a Coast Guard helicopter will take part in the exercise.

Officials say the aircraft will not be visible from the ground.
