ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Police have charged a North Texas woman with capital murder after two people were found dead in her home.

Thirty-five-year-old Veronica Dunnachie was being held at the Arlington City Jail on Thursday morning. Arlington police say the two people died in a domestic killing at her home on Wednesday afternoon. They didn’t identify the victims or release their cause of death.

Police say Dunnachie’s four children are safe. It’s unclear if they were at home when the people were killed. They declined to comment on the status of her husband or his daughter from a previous marriage.

Officers say Dunnachie drove herself to an area mental hospital after the killings, where she was arrested.

Bond hasn’t been set. Online jail records didn’t indicate an attorney for Dunnachie.
