HOUSTON (AP) - A Houston-area teenager has been arrested after police say he repeatedly called 911 in an attempt to confront officers so he could post a video of the interaction online.

Nineteen-year-old Anthony Ybarra of Spring was being held at the Harris County Jail on Thursday morning. He is charged with making a false report.

Harris County deputies say Ybarra called 911 twice on Wednesday to report a suspicious person. They say Ybarra was confrontational when deputies responded and immediately started recording them with his cellphone.

Deputies had dispatchers call the number used to report the suspicious person. They arrested Ybarra after the dispatch number appeared on his phone. They say he was trying to bait them into violence so he could post a recording on YouTube.

Online jail records didn’t indicate an attorney for Ybarra.
