CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The West Virginia Wing of Civil Air Patrol is joining thousands of officers and cadets in honoring fallen veterans.

Officials say the state wing is participating in ceremonies for Wreaths Across America.

Most of the observances are set for Saturday to coincide with a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.

In West Virginia, ceremonies are to take place at more than two dozen cemeteries, including ones in Beckley, Parkersburg, Morgantown, Huntington, Point Pleasant and Fairmont.

The West Virginia Wing of Civil Air Patrol has 13 units in the state.
