SAN ANTONIO (AP) - About 200 demonstrators surged into a busy shopping mall on San Antonio’s north side to protest the deaths of unarmed black man at police hands.

They surged into North Star Mall, chanting “Black lives matter” and “We can’t breathe,” and advanced to the food court. There, they lay down on the floor in a “die-in” as police officers and holiday shoppers looked on. KSAT-TV of San Antonio reports at least two were arrested.

In Houston, about 300 demonstrators rallied around a water sculpture and marched in the streets near the city’s posh Galleria shopping mall, chanting “Hands up, don’t shoot,” and “We can’t breathe.” The Houston Chronicle reported at least six were arrested.
