LEWES, Del. (AP) - Police say three people were seriously injured after a woman pulled her car into traffic while leaving the Lewes-Rehoboth Moose Lodge and was hit by a drunk driver.

The accident occurred around 2 a.m. State police say 67-year-old Donna White didn’t yield to traffic when she pulled her car out of the Moose Lodge parking lot. She was hit by a car driven by 20-year-old Angelo Gring-Vazquez, who was later cited for driving under the influence of alcohol.

White and a passenger in her car, 59-year-old Patricia Kent, were seriously injured. A 67-year-old woman riding in Gring-Vazquez’s car also suffered serious injuries. Gring-Vazquez was not hurt.

Police say the crash remains under investigation and more charges are possible.
