GYPSUM, Colo. (AP) - No major damage or injuries have been reported after a fire on a conveyor belt shut down a biomass power plant in Gypsum.

A plant employee discovered the fire on Saturday, and firefighters from around the area responded.

The Vail Daily reports (https://tinyurl.com/owxmpzd ) the facility has temporarily ceased power production while the conveyor system is repaired

Customers are getting power elsewhere, and there is no estimate on when the plant might resume operations. The plant started generating electricity last December.
