ATHENS, Greece (AP) - Ergys Kace blasted a powerful shot from outside the area in the 81st minute to give PAOK a 2-1 victory over visiting Kerkyra in the Greek league Sunday.

The win kept PAOK four points ahead of defending champion Olympiakos, which beat Levadiakos 2-1 Saturday, and five ahead of Panathinaikos, which won 4-0 against Panthrakikos on Sunday.

It was far from easy for PAOK, which finally broke through Kerkyra’s determined defense in the 58th with a shot by Facundo Pereyra. Pereyra’s Argentine compatriot Sebastian Nayar equalized with a low drive from the edge of the area in the 70th, before Kace scored the winner. Sasa Kajkut’s free kick in injury time hit PAOK’s right post.

Also, Panionios beat OFI 2-0, Asteras defeated Veria by the same score, Xanthi won 2-0 at Ergotelis and Giannena beat Atromitos 1-0.
