KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) - Police in suburban Atlanta say high speed was a factor in a crash that killed in Cartersville man.

Cobb County police spokesman Mike Bowman says 27-year-old Eric White was traveling along George Busbee Parkway in Kennesaw early Sunday morning when he crashed. Bowman says it appears that White was trying to make his way around a curve when he lost control of the 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt he was driving.

Bowman says the car veered from the road and hit a tree on the shoulder. Bowman says responding officers found White’s body inside the car.
