CAMDEN, Ark. (AP) - Skeletal remains found in Camden nearly six months ago have been identified as those of a man reported missing in March.

Camden police say the remains are those of Devan Lacy, who was reported missing March 11 by his mother.

Police say Lacy’s wife reported that Lacy went for a walk on March 6 and never returned home.

The remains were found June 25 in the wooded backyard of an abandoned home. They were first sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab and later sent to the University of North Texas where they were identified.

Camden police Lt. Demoyne Gray says Lacy’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
