SAC CITY, Iowa (AP) - A 17-year-old has pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide charges in connection to a fatal car crash in August.

Court records show an attorney for Trevor Feauto, of Clarksville, filed the written plea Monday in Sac County District Court. He has been charged as an adult with two counts of homicide by vehicle-operating under the influence and two counts of homicide by vehicle-reckless driving.

The Sioux City Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1zhlv1p ) no trial date has been set.

Feauto was driving a pickup in August that collided with a car driven by 16-year-old Bailey Jacobsen. She and her passenger, 16-year-old Lindsey Quirk, were killed.

Authorities say Feauto’s blood alcohol level was above the legal limit for minors driving.
