CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) - Southeast Missouri State University’s winter commencement is Dec. 20, and 680 students will receive their degrees.

The university says 549 undergraduates and 131 master’s and specialist students will get diplomas in the ceremony at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau.

Southeast Missouri State President Kenneth Dobbins and his wife, Jeanine Larson Dobbins, will deliver the commencement address. Jeanine Larson Dobbins is founder and director emeritus of the Missouri Statewide Early Literacy Intervention Program, based at Southeast.

Eight undergraduates with perfect 4.0 grade point averages will be honored.
