SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Air Force officials have identified the airman from Utah’s Hill Air Force Base who was killed along with his wife in a rollover accident over the weekend.
Air Force spokesman Micah Garbarino says 34-year-old staff Sgt. Derek Ramos and his wife Emily Ramos were killed Saturday in an off-roading accident in Bountiful.
Their two children survived the accident and are being cared by family members.
Garbarino says he’s not authorized to release the children’s ages.
Ramos was a pharmacy technician with the 75th Medical Group. He joined the Air Force in 2005 and has been at Hill Air Force Base since 2010.
