GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - Greeley leaders are leaning toward banning the use of e-cigarettes inside vapor shops.

City council members had considered treating e-cigarettes differently than traditional cigarettes so customers could sample products at the city’s two new vapor shops.

However, the Greeley Tribune (https://bit.ly/1stBGmf ) reports councilors are concerned about second-hand smoke and the lack of regulation for the manufacture of e-cigarettes, which heat a liquid to create vapor rather than burning tobacco.

Councilors are scheduled to have a final vote on the issue Tuesday.
