ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis County police are searching for a man who broke into a jewelry case at a pawn shop and threatened the worker with a hammer.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1qSDidD ) reports that the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of jewelry in the robbery that happened Wednesday at Cash America Pawn in south St. Louis County. Police say he used the hammer to break the glass of a display case and grabbed the jewelry.

The assailant threatened a worker with the hammer before leaving.
