SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - The girlfriend of a marijuana dealer from Sioux Falls who was killed in a botched robbery attempt has pleaded not guilty on state charges related to his death.

Twenty-one-year-old Faith Rasmussen is charged with burglary, attempted robbery and solicitation to commit a felony. The indictment accuses her of helping to plan the robbery that led to December 2013 shooting death of Jordan LeBeau.

Court documents show that Rasmussen was dating LeBeau and supplying him with drugs at the time she two South Dakota men to rob him. Authorities say the shooting occurred after LeBeau’s father walked in on two teens beating his son during the attempted robbery.

Rasmussen was sentenced last week to nearly seven years in prison on federal charges of drug trafficking and money laundering.
