ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (AP) - A man convicted of luring a prep-school teacher out of her Vermont home and killing her is facing sentencing.

Allen Prue was convicted in October of first-degree murder in the 2012 killing of 32-year-old Melissa Jenkins, a St. Johnsbury Academy teacher. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Wednesday.

Prue asked for a delay in sentencing until after the trial of his wife, Patricia Prue, who also is charged in the death but a judge denied his request.

Patricia Prue, who has pleaded not guilty, goes on trial in March.
