KENNEWICK, Wash. (AP) - A 15-year-old boy was struck by a car Monday evening in a crosswalk in Kennewick in front of Park Middle School.

Police say he was sideswiped and clipped by the front fender and mirror. He was knocked out of his shoes. He was treated at a hospital for a broken arm, cuts and scratches.

The Tri-City Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1wEMcLj ) the driver was shaken. There was no indication she was speeding.
