CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) - Four people are being treated for moderate injuries following an accident involving a southeast Missouri police vehicle.

KFVS-TV (https://bit.ly/1AC0FrL ) reports that the accident happened Monday afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a car driven by Cape Girardeau County Deputy Benjamin Juergens crossed the center line on Highway 25 and struck an SUV driven by 35-year-old Angela Martinez of Cape Girardeau.

Martinez and her two passengers, boys ages 9 and 1, were taken by ambulance to St. Francois Medical Center. Juergens also was taken to the same hospital.

No charges have been filed in the accident.
