MIAMI (AP) - Seven men are facing charges that they drugged a 16-year-old Miami-area girl and forced her to engage in prostitution.

The Miami-Dade County state attorney’s office say the girl went missing Dec. 4 after she left school. The Miami Herald reports Tuesday (https://hrld.us/1BPyjf2 ) that the men took her to several locations where she was drugged with cocaine, marijuana and pills. Authorities say she was then forced into prostitution and told she needed to make almost $1,300.

They say she was forced into sexual acts with more than 16 men, including eight men simultaneously on at least two occasions.

The seven suspects were arrested Friday night. They are all charged with sexual battery and supplying a controlled substance to a minor.
