HANOVER, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say speed was a factor in a one-vehicle crash overnight that left three men dead in eastern Pennsylvania.

Officials in Northampton County say the crash in Hanover Township was reported at about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, but apparently occurred at some point during the night.

Coroner Zachary Lysek said the three men killed were between 18 years old and their early 20s. Their names haven’t been released.

Colonial Regional police chief Roy Seiple said one of the victims was fully ejected from the vehicle, which was wrapped around a tree and “was unrecognizable as a car.”
