MILLSBORO, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say one man has died in an early morning crash in Millsboro.

Police say a Pontiac was traveling westbound on John J. Williams Highway just before 1 a.m. Tuesday, and the driver apparently lost control. The car crossed the center line and crashed into a Dodge Ram truck.

Investigators say the driver of the Pontiac, 20-year-old Andrew S. Thompson of Lewes, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the Pontiac had been stolen from a car dealer in Millsboro.

The driver of the truck was trapped in his vehicle, which caught fire. Emergency crews rescued the driver. He is being treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The highway was closed about four hours.
