KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) - A Klamath County man has pleaded guilty to being drunk when he ran down a woman in the rural community Sprague River.

The Herald and News (https://bit.ly/1AiitIG ) reports that prosecutors will recommend 23-year-old Joseph Martin Schuster of Chiloquin be sentenced to more than seven years in prison when he returns to court Jan. 5 in Klamath Falls.

He pleaded guilty earlier this month to manslaughter, drunken driving, and failing to perform the duties of a driver in the April 20 death of 63-year-old Barbara Lynn Malo.
