CHERRY HILL, N.J. (AP) - Police say a New Jersey man kept 250 pounds of marijuana in a self-storage unit.

Cherry Hill police say 57-year-old Nelson Anderson was pulled over Thursday after investigators saw him moving large boxes from the storage unit to his vehicle.

The unit was under surveillance because of reports of suspicious activity.

Police say a police dog found 100 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle and 150 pounds more in a wooden crate back at the storage unit.

Authorities say Anderson was storing the drug in the suburban community but planned to sell it in nearby Camden, where he lives.

Anderson faces several charges, including marijuana possession. He’s being held on bail of $250,000.
