CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire Employment Security office says the state’s unemployment rate for November was 4.1 percent, down a tenth of a percentage point from October.

In November 2013, the seasonally adjusted rate for New Hampshire was 5.2 percent.

Nationally, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for November was 5.8 percent, unchanged from October, and a decrease of 1.2 percentage points from the November 2013 rate.

In New Hampshire, seasonally adjusted estimates for November placed the number of employed residents at 712,060, an increase of 3,160 from the previous month and an increase of 9,500 from November 2013.

The number of unemployed residents decreased by 700 over the month to 30,140. This was 8,310 fewer unemployed than in November 2013.
