WAYNESBURG, Pa. (AP) - A western Pennsylvania woman was killed after a crane truck crashed into her SUV.

Saundra Kay Hanko, of Sycamore, was pronounced dead at the scene Monday on Route 21 near the Greene County Airport in Franklin Township.

Police say the 65-year-old Hanko was turning onto the highway at about 3:40 p.m. when her vehicle was struck by the eastbound crane truck.

The truck’s driver, 37-year-old Kenneth Bittinger III, was hospitalized in Morgantown, West Virginia with unspecified injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
