PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Police say they’ve recovered four pipe bombs that were tossed from a fleeing vehicle in southeast Portland. The bombs did not detonate.

Sgt. Pete Simpson says bomb squad technicians recovered the devices Tuesday from a street and nearby yards.

Police believe the fleeing silver Honda Civic was driven by a 43-year-old man sought on an active arrest warrant from Tillamook County. Officers called off Tuesday’s chase.

Investigators think the man has been driving the same car for the past few days and has led police on three chases in Clackamas and Multnomah counties.
