STAUNTON, Va. (AP) - A woman has been sentenced to five years in prison for embezzling more than $129,000 from a Fisherville doctor’s office.

The News Leader (https://bit.ly/1qT9pdi ) reports that 46-year-old Trudie L. Boggs pleaded guilty Monday in Augusta County Circuit Court to 47 embezzlement counts. She received a 40-year sentence with 35 years suspended. She also must pay restitution.
