STANTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a woman was killed and her husband was injured when their car hit a utility pole in Stanton.
It happened about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday on Ogletown-Stanton Road. Troopers say 86-year-old Mary A. Frisbie of Newark was driving west when her car left the road and hit a utility pole.
Police say she died at a local hospital. Her husband, 95-year-old Arthur Frisbie, was taken to the hospital with injuries that authorities say did not appear to be life-threatening.
