PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Two Providence men have been sentenced for their roles in a heroin trafficking conspiracy in Pawtucket and Providence.

Federal prosecutors said 24-year-old Raymundo Done and 30-year-old Jorge Marcano were sentenced Wednesday by U.S. District Judge William Smith.

Marcano was sentenced to three years in prison followed by three years’ supervised release. He pleaded guilty in September 2013 to three counts accusing him of conspiracy to distribute heroin, heroin possession with intent to distribute and possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

Done was sentenced to 24 months of probation, with the first six months in home confinement. He pleaded guilty in September of this year to one count of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute heroin.

Prosecutors said the men worked together in a heroin distribution operation.
