CHICAGO (AP) - Three men are charged in a string of recent armed robberies in suburban Chicago.

A Tuesday statement from Aurora police says they’re all charged with three counts of armed robbery.

They’re accused of robbing a Payday Loan Store Oct. 28. Two days later, they allegedly robbed an Auto Zone store and a Marathon Gas Station. In the three Aurora robberies, victims had their wrists bound by zip ties.

Police say fingerprints lifted from a zip tie used in the Marathon robbery led to one suspect. And video footage of the Auto Zone robbery showed men matching the descriptions of the three Chicago-area men. The suspects are all in their 20s.

By the time Aurora investigators tracked them down, all three were already in Cook County Jail on separate charges.
