LINDEN, N.J. (AP) - There are traffic delays in the northbound truck lanes on the New Jersey Turnpike following a multi-vehicle crash near Linden.

State Police spokesman Sgt. Jeff Flynn says the crash occurred around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday and involved three tractor-trailers and a New Jersey Transit bus.

Flynn says eight people were injured, including one who was extricated from the bus and was seriously injured.

All of the patients were taken to a hospital in Newark.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
