MERIDIAN, Idaho (AP) - A man already awaiting a murder trial in one Idaho dismemberment death has been served with a murder arrest warrant in the case of a man authorities believe was killed and dismembered in 2000.

Idaho State Police detectives and FBI agents formally arrested 46-year-old Michael Dauber of Idaho City on Monday in the death of Joshua Reddington. State police found Reddington’s skeletal remains in early October at a remote cabin in Boise County. DNA provided a positive identification. Investigators believe the 25-year-old Salmon, Idaho, man was killed shortly after he was last seen in Idaho City during Memorial Day weekend in 2000.

State police spokeswoman Teresa Baker says Dauber was arraigned Tuesday in 4th District Magistrate Court in the Reddington killing.

Dauber has pleaded not guilty to a first-degree murder charge in the December 2007 killing of Steven Kalogerakos. Dauber was arrested in March in that case.
