JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Police say a 68-year-old Jacksonville man fell to his death from a tree he was trimming in his yard.

The Florida Times-Union (https://bit.ly/13y3CzG ) reports the man had returned home from a funeral on Tuesday and was found dead in his yard a short time later by family members returning from the service.

Sgt. Jay Farhat says the man either fell from a ladder or a tree limb. He was using a chain saw at the time. A rope was tied around a limb on the tree.

Authorities say foul play is not suspected.

The man’s name has not been released.
