NEW YORK (AP) - Pakistan’s consul general plans to attend a candlelight vigil with members of Brooklyn’s Pakistani community.

Mass funerals got underway Wednesday following a massacre by the Taliban at a military-run school in the country’s troubled northwest.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, other elected officials and interfaith leaders also will be at the vigil. It’s scheduled for 8 p.m. Wednesday in Midwood.
