MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - A Memphis Fire Department spokesman says a man is dead following a blaze at a home in the southwestern part of the city.

Lt. Wayne Cooke told The Commercial Appeal (https://bit.ly/1uWxTh8) that firefighters were called to the residence Wednesday evening and put out the blaze in 13 minutes. He said fire crew later found a male victim inside the home.

The man’s identity wasn’t immediately released.

Cooke said the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
