PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - Two of four people accused in the Prescott-area stabbing death of a man whose body was burned have pleaded guilty to escape possible death sentences.

The Daily Courier (https://goo.gl/KIGCLE ) reports that 23-year-old Robert Hinderliter and 26-year-old Juan Sanchez are to be sentenced to natural life in prison. They pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges of first-degree murder and other crimes in the 2011 killing of Clifford Williamson.

Williamson had testified against Hinderliter in a robbery case.

Joseph Parsons previously admitted participating in the killing and was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison.

The fourth person charged in the case, 33-year-old Veronica Rutherford, awaits trial but has a settlement conference scheduled. Such conferences can be preludes to plea agreements.
