LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (AP) - Six central Kentucky firefighters have been released from hospitals where they were treated after a firetruck crashed while on an emergency run.

Anderson County Fire Department Capt. Brandon Brown told the Lexington Herald-Leader (https://bit.ly/1uUPUMN ) that all six firefighters are doing well.

Brown said one man, who had to be cut out of the wrecked truck and was taken to University of Kentucky Hospital, might have suffered a slight concussion. The other five were taken to Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

The wreck happened around 6:30 p.m. EST Tuesday when the firetruck crashed into a tree in Anderson County. Brown said the firefighters were responding to a car wreck with injuries.
