PLAINVILLE, Conn. (AP) - Police say a baby has been critically injured inside a Plainville home.

Police say the child was found unconscious inside the home on Stillwell Drive around 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The child was taken Wednesday morning to a local hospital and later flown the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in critical condition.

State police say the Major Crimes Squad is investigating, along with the state’s attorney office and Plainville police.

No charges have been filed, and police have not released the baby’s name or given any details about the child’s injuries.
