CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A 59-year-old woman has acknowledged abducting her 7-year-old granddaughter from her elementary school playground in Casper.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1wJzuMG ) Viana Jones, of Edgerton, appeared in court Thursday and pleaded guilty to custodial interference. She had been ordered by a court not to have contact with her granddaughter except during supervised visits after pleading guilty to marijuana possession.

Jones was reportedly wearing a wig when she went to North Casper Elementary School on Nov. 3 and drove away with the girl, who became the subject of an Amber Alert. The grandmother was arrested about 11 miles west of Sundance.
