JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A man has been sentenced to life in prison for fatally shooting another man during a fight outside a Jacksonville nightclub.

A Duval County judge sentenced 31-year-old Ivan Webb this week after he was convicted of second-degree murder.

Prosecutors say Webb got into a fight with 21-year-old Kenneth Chatman inside Tiffany’s Gentlemen’s Club in April 2011. The brawl escalated and spilled out into the parking lot.

Webb pulled out a gun and fired several shots, one of which killed Chatman, and then led police on a high-speed chase.

The Florida Times-Union (https://bit.ly/1v0t2fL) reports that, in addition to life, Webb also received 15-year sentences for aggravated fleeing, attempting to elude and officer and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
