PINE LEVEL, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say a 22-year-old man has been hospitalized after an explosion at a meth lab in Johnston County.

WRAL-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1DQ8m3N ) that the man was airlifted to the N.C. Jaycee Burn Center on Wednesday night after a blast at a mobile home between Pine Level and Princeton.

The man’s name has not been released, and authorities said he was burned on at least 30 percent of his body. Investigators say the man has two children, but they were not home at the time of the explosion.
