GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - A man has pleaded guilty to conspiring with men charged in a fatal home invasion in western Michigan.

Twenty-nine-year-old Christopher Duncan faces up to 22 ½ years in prison after his plea this week, which he entered without a deal with prosecutors. Duncan admitted to telling a friend that the northern Kent County home of his child and ex-girlfriend contained drugs and money. He gave the friend a layout of the home in preparation for a break-in.

Four armed and masked men forced their way Sept. 8 into the Spencer Township home, about 25 miles northeast of Grand Rapids. A 34-year-old man was forced into a vehicle and shot and stabbed.

Five men are charged with various crimes including felony murder, home invasion and armed robbery.
